B.Ed Assignments

B.Ed
I started pursuing B.Ed because I have always been passionate towards teaching as a profession. In my view, it is the most noble profession as it creates all other professions. No profession would exist without a teacher.

In B.Ed, we get the opportunity to learn many subjects in theory as well as practically to gain a better understanding of teaching in the real world context. Navrachana University equips us to become ideal teachers to the students and focuses on the holistic development of the students.

Given below is a summary of subjects we were exposed to in the first semester.

LANGUAGE ACROSS CURRICULUM

This subject enlightened us on the importance of language and communication in the curricula. LAC shines light upon the role of different vocabulary, in the same language, in different subjects. Further, we also learned how some words have different meaning in other subjects.

CRITICAL THINKING
Critical Thinking is a tool for professional development. It teaches us about how a teacher should think in their professional, personal, and academic domains of life. It makes us aware of the thinking process in order to improve it, by way of analysing and assessing it continuously.

COMMUNICATION

We became aware of the communication process through this subject. We were taught how to communicate efficiently with our peers, colleagues, seniors, students, and parents. We also learned how to communicate orally as well as in the written form.  Writing As Therapy: Review article and presentation

In this subject, we learned how to make and use concept maps of many topics which will be helpful for students to understand. Furthermore, we discussed many topics of Social Science in class to brush up our content.
